libkml0 software package provides Library to manipulate KML 2.2 OGC standard files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libkml0
libkml0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libkml0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libkml0 *
You will get with libkml0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
